BE TRUE TO YOU COUNSELLING
HERE TO LISTEN TO YOU
Counselling can help you through difficult times and make changes to your life. I provide a warm, caring, confidential, safe and secure space where you can freely be you and explore past and present issues or experiences to better understand them and yourself. This may include relationships, loss, stress, anxiety, depression and other life challenges. I am here to listen, support and facilitate you to gain better understanding of your thoughts and feelings and enable you to cope better.
There comes a time when we need some help from a professional to help cope with many of life’s challenges. I’m a qualified counsellor offering one to one counselling in Hull, specialising in mental health and wellbeing. Life can be overwhelming and sometimes even exhausting, but I’m here to help you through any obstacles you may face. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and to cope better with change.
"The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind"
All About Therapy
The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) definition of counselling is that "Counselling occurs when a counsellor sees a client in a private and confidential setting to explore a difficulty the client is having, distress they may be experiencing or perhaps their dissatisfaction with life or loss of a sense of direction and purpose. It is always at the request of the client and no one can properly be 'sent' for counselling."
I work person-centred with you, which puts you at the centre of the work the whole time, with the focus being on the quality of our client and counsellor relationship.
